Carthorse Furniture are skilled cabinet makers specialising in making furniture in Oak and other hard woods. Here in the small North Yorkshire village of Bagby, near Thirsk, is our handmade furniture business. Using traditional methods of cabinet making and high class joinery, we produce high quality furniture in our small workshop here at Low Osgoodby Grange.
The majority of our projects are all bespoke and we work closely with our customers, putting their ideas and design requirements into the finished piece - making every item completely unique and perfect for their needs. Every commission is made to a very high standard, we charge affordable rates and the finished product will be admired by many and last a long time.

Paul worked for and learnt his trade from a local craftsman for 5 years before starting his own business in 1996. The business is based in an old Georgian granary located on the family farm near Balk in North Yorkshire. Paul is a proud craftsman and puts his heart and soul into providing his customers with the highest quality furniture possible.
