20 years ago GRM green roofed my house and recently, when I wanted to hard-roof a difficult, sloping, previously glazed roof they came back to do the work. Once again, the products (Bauder) were first class and the quality of the work was as good as ever. The team on the roof were led by one of the guys who'd done the original work and included two of his family members, so besides a wealth of experience there was also great continuity. Zero stars. I insisted my contractor use an authorised Bauder installer after his delays caused ply to get water damaged and start to delaminate. GRM Roofing were told the contractor had to replace delaminated ply before installation. They also advised the insulation to the wall had to removed to carry out the 300mm upstand.
Instead GRM Roofing installed over the delaminated ply despite it being visibly water damaged and delaminated. I now have a flat roof and terrace with 18mm ply which is bowing beneath my feet and the only way to replace it is to take all the waterproofing and render finishes

One of the drivers from this dump drove so close to the back of me that we were almost rubbing bumpers up Colchester road, the speed limit was 40 and I was already doing 42 so I wasn’t going slow and I had a cue of people in front of me. He then went on the inside lane, continued to shout abuse at me and stick his fingers up at me while I had my 6 year old sister in the car. If my sister wasn’t in that car then he would have been in some serious problems with me that would make him regret his decisions. Do not go with this company if this is the sort of dirty muppet who will be coming into
