We are a family run, reputable and recommended business founded in 2005. Between us we have decades of experience within the industry allowing us to survive recessions, slumps, financial crashes, and pandemics. We also provide great customer service and aftercare. Ultimately, we think that designing your kitchen is about more than simply filling a space with cupboards and worktops.
Bring the basic measurements of your kitchen to our showroom. Our designers will talk you through our range of products and services, taking note of your budget and all your requirements. We then suggest a variety of options for you to choose from for your kitchen, including furniture, appliances, worktop, and splashback.
Funktional Kitchens service is exceptional. Their attention to detail, flexibility and advice has resulted in a fabulous kitchen that has delivered in every way! Our designers like a challenge. Every project is different; each space, whether large or small is unique and we love to find the right design solution. The designers have a wide range of materials and equipment at their fingertips for a traditional or modern kitchen design. To create your bespoke kitchen, we are not constrained by any one brand or limited materials.
Each kitchen design is one of a kind, so every installation process naturally has unique challenges. In order to ensure fitting is carried out to the highest standard possible we work closely with manufacturers to ensure our kitchen installers have an in-depth knowledge of the products, as well as having many years of collective experience installing in numerous locations throughout London and the South East.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough ! Thank god I ran away from Wren kitchens before it was to late. Funktional kitchen not only gave me a MUCH better design and MUCH better quality it came in budget compared to a pushy robotic experience that I had previously experienced. I felt like Vicky and Alison actually had a interest in my opinions and desires and worked with me to create it within my budget !

Funktional Kitchens has provided us with excellent service, and a beautiful new kitchen. They worked with us on the design of our kitchen using their software in the showroom, and they offered a good range of options for fittings and appliances. The scheduling of the work, delivery of goods and installation all kept to plan. Communication with them during the whole process was good, and they were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. The very few problems that arose were dealt with to our satisfaction. We were also pleased with the work of the person recommended by them to do the preparation

We had used Funktional in the past and decided to work with them again on our latest project- a kitchen and boot room (bar) refurb in a Norfolk barn conversion. Communication was clear, involved and bespoke throughout from design brief to completion. No detail was left overlooked and the team always remained a few steps ahead of us in our expectations; manoeuvring around manufacturing issues due to COVID expertly and with little fuss in striving to complete the entire project by Christmas (which they did!)

Very pleased with the product and service we had from FK. We bought our kitchen (supply only) from them in late Autumn 20 and the build has just finished. Excellent product and the service from FK through design and build was great - responsive to queries and quick to resolve any issues. Would happily recommend them as a supplier.
