Kit Peel Gardens designs elegant, formal gardens which are low maintenance, constructed with as low a carbon footprint as possible and full of plants that are beneficial for wildlife. We call this design style 'Eco Formal'. Since 2016 we have undertaken urban and rural projects, for private clients and businesses.
Our work is mostly in North Yorkshire, although we undertake commissions across the UK and abroad. For us, each project is utterly individual. We carefully gather information on the client's needs, the unique qualities of the site and wider landscape, then we find the simplest and strongest design that marries these elements together.
We strongly believe that successful projects are a joint effort. As such, we always endeavour to collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, plant nurseries and craftspeople at all stages of the journey from design to completion. Our goal is to create a beautiful space for you to enjoy all year round, by day and night.

Services
We differ from many other garden design practices in the highly considered way we approach every project. Our goal is to create a design that is both elegant, utterly bespoke and unfussy. We 'cook with few ingredients' but we make sure every element of the design is beautifully realised. We manage all aspects of the design process, from first visit to completed garden and beyond.
Kit had a wealth of ideas, suggestions and thoughts, which he incorporated into the design, backed up by pictures and plans. He also had valuable experience with landscaping contractors, which we felt was essential for a professional completed project. Throughout the project Kit was always available and visited the site regularly to ensure standards were met.
