This contract is made between the customer as named on the sales & survey contract and Harpenden Window Company Ltd (the Company). This contract and any guarantees issued are non- transferable to third parties. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the installation to be carried out on the schedule is correct.

Faq Report

No, all uPVC windows are now colour fasted so the colour is specially set and it does not degenerate. We have a number of ways to upgrade the security of our products. The main way would be to upgrade the locks/ barrel to a more secure/ anti bump/snap barrel, or to change the glass to laminate glass, this turns one of the weakest points of any glazing product into one of the strongest!

We highly recommend Harpenden windows!
The communication from the start till completion the office were excellent in updating us.
Paul came round to survey and was very thorough, friendly and he also advised different options we could have.
Installation was very clean and quick by Mick and Dan, they were very friendly and professional.
Thanks to the whole team, we will be using them again to change our front door in the near future.

I have to agree that post sales service is non-existent. We had heard good things about the quality of the product so ordered a patio door. A few months after fitting, we found water accumulating in the bottom channel inside whenever it rained. Called Harpenden Windows to get it fixed. After multiple additional calls, they sent out someone who said it was normal and just drilled a couple of drainage holes but water still accumulates. Latest issue is that the trim on the inside of the patio doors keeps detaching from frame. Asked for someone to come around and fix it. Was told that I would be called

We are very pleased with the new windows fitted by Mick, Dan, Steve and Reece who were all excellent at their job and they made sure that any plaster/render was made good. All of them were polite , friendly reliable , and at the end of each day inside and outside was clean and tidy . I would recommend Harpenden Windows as the quality of the windows are excellent much like the workmanship and care carried out during the fitting.

We have used this company a couple of times and although the quality of the windows and doors is good there is NO after sales service - we had to get a locksmith to fix a front door. When they fitted the windows they scratched out window sills and when a chap came to measure up he brought dog's mess into the house. We would not use again nor recommend.

Would highly recommend Harpenden Windows. We've just had two windows and French doors replaced with triple sliding doors. The company have been a pleasure to work with. Our work involved removing old brickwork under the windows so not a straightforward like-for-like replacement. Steve and Rhys were polite and courteous and their work was neat and tidy. They seemed super efficient too, the whole job including clearing all the debris away was done in 2 days. Thank you to all the team

Thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of having their windows replaced. The work was exemplary and the fitters were always keen to cause as little disruption as possible.
