Great selections for both indoor and outdoor plants. They do keep them in good condition, also reflected in the pricing understandable given its rental location. Nice shop also for Xmas decorations/trees/wreath making etc over festive seasons. A dog friendly cafe attached to it as well run by the same business.

The Chelsea Gardener Cafe
A lovely, tranquil spot away from the (nowadays relative) bustle of the King's Road that serves an eclectic range of sandwiches, rolls and pastries and very good (and generous) smoothies- served in cut glass tumblers. A perfect place for a Chelsea pit stop. (The cafe is part of the Chelsea Gardener centre).

I am a local to Chelsea, have been living near The Chelsea Gardner on Sydney street for more than 15 years and occasionally was buying plants from them.
I am outraged by the rudeness of the staff, including the manager, Andy who is snobby, sarcastic, unfriendly, and seems like he doesn't want to be there. He barely turns his face to greet you with great displeasure and contempt for you.
I strongly recommend to avoid this place in spite of the convenient location to many of it's neighbours. If you can't resist at least do not approach the Italian woman - a sales assistant, who is

The Chelsea Gardener is absolutely fabulous! Andy is beyond amazing and will without hesitation go that extra mile for you to make sure you're happy and love what you have purchased. I cannot praise the team more highly. You're always greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. Andy and the team are more than happy to help you and they are a font of knowledge when it comes to buying the right plant for your home. I have never been disappointed with anything I have ever bought. It's always a pleasure to visit The Chelsea Gardener and their plant selection for indoors and outside is totally unique.

A great garden centre with a very large selection of plants, seeds, garden furniture, tools and decorations. You will most likely find what you are looking for here. It also has a really nice cafe that is modern and comfortable with some classic cakes and coffee. We gave 4 stars because it is an expensive place probably because it is in Chelsea.

Bought a Variegated Cheese Plant for £800, when I got it home I realised half of it had black spot fungus.
I called up and spoke to Mattie who started a fight with me saying how she’s never seen it and accused me of lying. I have been told repeatedly that it is my fault for not noticing, they have taken no responsibility and blamed it entirely on the customer.
I spoke to Andy and while he took my concerns into consideration I was still told that it was my fault, that they don’t have diseased plants and that I was lying about it even after I sent him pictures of the leaves. I offered to bring

I love this place, especially at Christmas time when it is literally a holiday wonderland. One can pick up tree, wreath and all the trimmings in a one stop elegant garden shopping. And the staff chivalrously carried my tree and waited for me to find a taxi. You never get service like that anymore!
The one downside, and it is a biggie, was that the Christmas tree I bought from them was dried out in a week. And yes, I had it in a stand with plenty of water (I have had Christmas trees before so I do know the routine to keeping a tree's long festive life). So that makes me wonder how long the

It's bonkers to think that there is a working garden center in the middle of Chelsa. Not even Homebase can afford the land prices here, so the fact that an independent is here instead makes me think that its survival relies on passion, patronage, and a blind disregard for cashing in after all those years helping out green fingers.
I salute you Chelsea Gardener, for your existence and for your assistance in getting me some of the best-loved gifts for my friends around London. Where else in Zones 1& 2 can I pick up a small tree without a car?
Top tip: the proper orchids here are exactly

This is a lovely little oasis set within Chelsea which me and my mum found one day. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they have some beautiful plants. They also have a great range of gardening accessories as well as some lovely garden furniture. Apart from anything else this place is quite nice to just have a wander around if you are in the area and looking for somewhere different to go.

An little oasis in the centre of Chelsea, The Chelsea Gardener is a lovely spot for a bit of green inspiration. While my own green thumb is still developing, I love popping in here and wandering amongst the gorgeous plants, trees and flowers - the selection is quite impressive. The store is also located next to the Chelsea Farmer's Market (another personal favourite destination).
One quip is the delivery charge they impose for all deliveries, even very local ones. I've been deterred from ordering larger - and already quite expensive - items from here more than once for this reason

The Chelsea Gardener is an exquisite centre on Sydney Street that sells plants and flowers and it's charm is that it's a local business. Inside is very bright and very green, there are lots of plants and dried flowers on sale and they have a tropical room as well, where the orchids and bonsai trees are. Prices can range from extremely expensive to quite reasonable. I once bought a bonsai tree for a mere £14. The staff really know their stuff and are really helpful and it makes a really nice change from Homebase or B&Q, because there are people who have worked there for years, who
