Our highly skilled installation team work efficiently on all projects in the North & South of Ireland as well as mainland UK installing roofing and cladding completing projects on time even on the tightest of deadlines.
The challenge of this contract for us was the shape of the building. The geometry involved in sizing materials and fitting them proved to be challenging in a very tight deadline. It turned out to be a very prestigious and encapsulating building. The walls were constructed using Kingspan Karrier panel with an 80mm core thickness.
We used the increasingly popular Rigidal standing seam aluminium roof. There were challenging elements with this project, such as the installation team had to roll materials on site and installed as a single sheet. One of the features included no exposed fixings. There was an overhanging fascia and gutter detail which were designed and manufactured in-house.
The R&D Building at JTI, involved removing an existing composite roof external sheet and insulation, whilst keeping the live building below water tight. Keeping the existing roof liner sheet in place, we installed a new Rigi Systems Ziplock standing seam roof. On the walls we installed new Kingspan Architectural cladding panels onto the existing brickwork using galvanised metal top-hats secured to the brickwork.
We were pleased to be working with Lagan Building Contractors. This project was very challenging as there was a tight deadline and there were site constraints with the location and size of the building. We used Kingspan AWP Microrib for the walls. All external flashing were designed and manufactured in house.

Waited 2 months on someone to come out and take measurements. Fella told me he could have been out any time and was only told of the job the day before. Made a sample which wasn't just right. Tried to contact him a few days later to be told he was on paternity and they couldn't get anyone else to look at the job. Rarely get to talk to a rep when trying to get in contact. Always told they'll get back to me and rarely do
