The Carpet Shop was family owned and operated. It was founded in 1974 by the owners Pat and Steve Jones who ran the shop for 42 years assisted by their able and knowledgeable sales staff Michelle and Margaret and backed up by their team of experienced carpet fitters led by Stuart who unusually in this day and age were employees and not freelance.
Constructed by twisting the yarn further the carpet is able to be both hard wearing as well as soft on the foot and pleasing to the eye. With its 'loop' construction the carpet takes on a natural look which generates a unique hardwearing textured finish. For un- compromised luxury, the velvet, with its tight construction and smooth finish, offers optimum elegance.
