With the growing concern over asbestos, many of our customers are faced with the dilemma of what to do once their old corrugated roof starts to deteriorate. We recommend removing the asbestos and replacing with Box Profile Roofing or a fibre cement sheet that doesn't contain asbestos. It is sometimes difficult to tell the difference between an asbestos cement product and a low-density insulation board.
During this time Brendon Roofing completed maintainance work on over 150 public house and hotels. We also re-roofed many of these. This contract lasted for two years when eventually they sold Eldridge Pope to Marstons brewery. We were then contracted again to attend to any maintenance work that needed completing on these pubs and we also started doing bigger projects on lease works for Marstons.
When putting up new fascias, soffits and bargeboards or replacing them, we recommend fitting UPVC, which will save on maintenance and look great. There is no repainting and cleaning simply requires a wipe down with a damp cloth. Correctly positioned overhangs such as verandahs, eave and soffits can dramatically reduce the impact that sun, wind and rain can have on homes and can save homeowners money on heating, cooling and maintenance costs.
Over time, traditional flat roofs begin to fail and if the situation isn't dealt with quickly, damage can spread into the interior of the property causing a more expensive repair. They did an excellent job on my house in Taunton. The price was good. I need reclaimed Welsh slate tiles and they quoted me and started the work, because of a cancellation, soon afterwards. My old roof was in need of urgent replacement it had had bitumen applied in the 1970s and was leaking a lot. Now I have a super new roof. They repaired my fascia too. Really good job. Very efficient communication from Russ and the office staff. Would recommend.
