We like to keep the cost of designing a garden simple. This includes the initial consultation to discuss the client's brief, site survey and full colour A3 drawing. You need to allow about 120 to 140 per square metre. I would also advise having a contingency budget of around 10% of the overall cost as things can happen during the course of the build.
This involves initial consultation to determine the clients' brief, followed by a site survey to measure the garden accurately. I then come up with the rough draft, which is in pencil and can be changed until the client is satisfied. Once the client is happy with the rough draft, I continue with the final draft, which is to scale, in colour, and includes plants and hard landscaping.

With around 20 years in the horticulture industry, I trained at Capel Manor College in Enfield gaining a National Certificate in Horticulture qualification (NCH) in Garden Design. We offer the complete garden package in-house from the conceptual design through to the construction of the garden. We can even maintain the finished garden on a seasonal or more regular basis if required.
