Vallance Discount Carpets

I felt absolutely disgusted when I discovered that the price I was charged for plywood and adhesive, used to fit vinyl tiles in my hallway, kitchen and dining room, was more than twice the amount I would have paid had I sourced the materials myself .
Therefore, my advice to you is, if you’re having a large area covered with vinyl tiles , is to use the recommended fitters (they’re great) but source the materials required yourself, you could save £00’s hundreds of pounds

A lovely, personal service. Good range available to browse and staff are generous with their time in discussing the specifics of your needs and family. Perhaps not the cheapest but I've come to accept that carpeting is an area where you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality.
We've used Vallance for all carpet needs over the last 8 years as we feel confident of quality both in terms of product and service, including after care.
A pest to park near is only criticism.

Was finding it hard to get a correctly sized rug and was advised to choose a carpet that I liked and have it cut and “edged” to size, something I had never considered. What a simple solution that has worked out better than I could have imagined and was surprised at the cheap price compared to other quotes that I collected for what would have been inferior fits. Walked in on the Saturday with great service and support to buy a carpet as we hadn't done this before, carpet was fitted on the Monday and it looks fantastic. Will certainly be back.

Very helpful with helping us select the right carpet. The carpet fitters couldn't have been better on the day. Assisted with adjusting the door due to the higher level of the new carpet. Have since been back and we are going to order for another 2 rooms.

Bit of a late review:
We purchased a carpet (April 2019) and had it fitted. The carpet itself lovely and the staff in the store were very friendly when initially purchasing the carpet.
However, the carpet fitter who came to fit the carpet was extremely rude, did an average job (missed bits, went round the wardrobe instead of asking us to move it) and generally didn't seem although he wanted to be there. A complaint was made in-store and the appreciated the feedback...that was all.
Around September/October 2019, the carpet on the stairs started to lift off a few steps (it is still this way) and

I purchased a carpet to be fitted in one bedroom, landing and stairs. Carpet laid took around 2hr. I am delighted with the carpet and the fitting. I would most definitely recommend Valance carpets very reasonable prices nice staff lovely carpets. I'm currently decorating another bedroom and will certainly be going back to valance for another carpet.

This is the sister company to Vallance Discount Carpets, the main different being that they focus on FLOORING as opposed to carpets.

It's a massive place! They have an amazing range of vinyls, linos (?) and all other cold floor coverings in an array of colours and patterns.

I'm not that into my DIY and luckily the staff in here and really friendly and gave me very clear instructions on how to lay some vinyl (or something) in my tiny bathroom. After much huffing, puffing, the odd swear word and a bottle of red wine it was done! Good job done all round!

The prices are very reasonable
