Unfortunately we found them to be very rude and condescending. Despite my wife and I going there to look at a specific type of carpet they seemed adamant to talk us out of purchasing from them. Seemed to presume that we couldn't afford the carpet we were interested in. Very disappointing experience, we will not be returning and will order said carpet elsewhere

Absolutely terrible experience with this company!!!! Rude, arrogant and sarcastic. I live in Essex and ordered carpet to be fitted in my partners property in Plympton. I was assured the carpet was similar to what was already in the property but they couldn't get a complete match as the existing one had been discontinued. Living in Essex I had little choice but to take his word for it and asked for pictures once the carpet was fitted. He assured me pictures would be sent. After not receiving any pictures of the carpet I visited the property to find the carpet fitted was COMPLETELY different to what

I have to agree with the first reviewer. I visited the showroom with the intention of getting my whole house fitted and wasn't impressed with the customer service. The salesman I spoke to, while knowledgable, didn't make much effort to engage with me and made me feel awkward when I asked some novice type questions. He just really didn't seem bothered either way if I offered him my custom or not.

I found quite the opposite experience, knowledgeable, understood the products, pricing and limitations of certain materials in different rooms. We had already priced the carpet in a National Carpet retailer and they did not get the price Right ... £65 more than A1 Carpets for a similar, but not equal carpet and that was without the fitting charges, which we got free from A1. I have used National companies before and they subcontract the fitting, A1 have a team of fitters .... and to be honest here the best fitting I have ever experienced and I am 56 so seen a few carpets laid. I will be buying
