From our central North West Base, we able to service our client's building contracts right around the Northwest UK including Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. W Monks Ltd have long standing relationships with a wide range of sub contractors and suppliers, providing the ability to complete many types of building project.
We were very impressed with the professional attitude and attention to detail that was shown throughout the building programme. We met regularly and were kept informed of progress regularly. The work was carried out fully to a very high standard by a workforce obviously motivated by a need to excel.
Aluminium and uPVC products may have risen in prominence in recent decades. But there's nothing to beat natural timber for formability, practicality in use and visual appeal. And unlike a lot of architectural materials, timber is highly sustainable because it is a renewable resource. Over the last 50 years, W Monks has acquired and still deploys high quality traditional bespoke joinery expertise which is no longer commonplace in the UK today.
In the past year alone, five members of staff have successfully completed the SMTS training programme - a nationally recognised site managers health and safety qualification. We are committed to continuing this success in the coming years. The Company has achieved the Gold Standard under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and are committed to ensure the workforce are competent in health and safety matters and hold CSCS Cards.

Friendly family business with high standards. Top class team that delivers craftsmanship and quality.
Entrusted a massive project to them and although still halfway through, it’s abundantly clear we made the right choice. Great, old style customer satisfaction, yet a progressive company not afraid to try new things.
Can’t fault them so far, and we’ve never been able to say that about a building contractor before.
