Willacy Oil Services is synonymous with the development of petrochemical tank cleaning and sludge treatment systems. Willacy Oil Services was founded with the introduction of oil recovery and sludge stabilisation systems into the UK refineries. Due to the success of the business, Willacy moved into its purpose built headquarters in Sandycroft, UK.
We provide solutions to all types of industrial cleaning that may be required, from manual removal and jetting work through to the cleaning of automated or semi-automated systems. We offer a complete range of services to the refinery sector with highly experienced teams and a proven track record in managing waste, shutdown support, high pressure water jetting and tank inspections.
Based on years of experience with tank cleaning in the oil industry, we were awarded a tender to clean various oil storage tanks at the former Petroplus refinery in Essex, which closed in 2012. An AD (anaerobic digestion) plant situated on a farm in Oxfordshire required confined space cleaning and the removal of solids in preparation for decommissioning.
Over the past 27 years Willacy Oil Services has undertaken many large contracts around the world including Europe, Asia, Australia and the Caribbean. These contracts are generally the more difficult projects that the small local companies haven't got the equipment or experience to do. Once we have assessed the scope of work for the project we will work closely with local companies to see what resources are available.
