The team at Acorn communicated brilliantly regarding booking appointments, even getting back to me over the Bank Holiday. I had an appointment booked for a heating system repair booked for next Monday, however had 12 people (including 6 vegans....) over for New Year and the toilets all stopped working! The showers also appeared to be stuck at 400 degrees C. Acorn were able to move my appointment forward and Lewis visited yesterday. Thanks to him, we can now stop flushing using buckets of water, can shower happily and keep warm by the radiator. Great service and lovely people. Next time, I will

Christmas period is always the busiest time of the year in the trade, our boiler decided to stop work and a concerning loud noise which half of the street could probably hear. This wasn’t ideal with a new born baby either!
I called Acorn first thing in the morning and explained the situation and Acorn were so understanding of the situation and despite how busy they were, they still popped in to have a look first thing in the morning determined to help as they understood our situation with a new born baby. I was recommended to call Acorn by a friend who is a plumber. I figured that if a plumber recommended them, they must be good! And they were. We needed a boiler service, during which Alex identified a couple of issues which needed attention. Instead of charging an arm and a leg to repair a fairly old boiler, they came up with some innovative solutions that saved us a tonne of cash and which were very effective. Acorn's responsiveness - when other plumbers wouldn't even answer their phones - was amazing (it was winter, the heating and hot water supply had stopped working - we needed a plumber quickly

I would highly recommend Acorn Plumbing given our recent very positive experience with them. During a routine annual boiler service their engineer highlighted a design fault which we were not aware of and which could have resulted in a dangerous situation arising. Acorn are BRILLIANT! I cannot praise Alex, Lewis and the office team for their absolute professionalism and knowledge. When I embarked on a refurbishment of my property I had no knowledge of what was required or suitable. From the outset Acorn provided expert guidance and then went on to deliver the neatest integrated replumbing of my property, replacement of my boiler and within the timescale they had estimated. I had two radiators not working and with serious blockage. Alex the engineer from Acorn spent a full day fixing the issue and at the end of the day we had a very toastie warm house with all radiators pumping out heat.
Alex also gave me some very good advice about the current set up and what I should be looking at in the future.

We had a problem with our central heating that seemed simple to start with but proved to to be quite complicated but Acorn Pluming persevered and now we warm and cosy once again. They were a pleasure to deal with and would recommend them every time

The service we have received from Acorn Plumbing has been fantastic! With no heating or hot water I called Acorn. I was assured someone would get out to me that morning and their engineer Alex arrived at the time given. He identified our problem and was able to provide a competitive quote and install a new boiler all within 24hours. The team were all very friendly, professional and the service extremely efficient. I would highly recommend this local business & I will most definitely make then my first choice for any future plumbing or heating issues.

We've had the good fortune to use Acorn Plumbing for a variety of issues over time: heating thermostats, boiler maintenance, leaks, towel radiator misfunctioning etc. They are always professional, knowledgeable and on time. They have never had to 'fix their own repair'. They get it right.
