I chose to use Aura based on their reviews in June 2020. At first it was a really good experience and I was impressed with their professionalisim.
I received my drawings and wasn't completely happy with them. The 4 options I was given were all basically the same thing.
They never came to my property to see the space or get a feel for where the light was coming in etc. The bathroom on the drawing didn't make sense as it was so small. (See below). The snug was also like a meter so again didn't make sense.
I tried to escalate this to Ben, and I was offered another call but I had lost confidence

Overall great design and exceptional value for money. As a first time consumer of architectural services on what was a large project I can not emphasise enough the value add that we got from Ben, Sophie and the wider Aura team. The effort and detail put into the design and specification of works along with significant assistance in project management was commendable. As the project evolved it was crystal clear that we saved a significant amount of time and money as a result of having a comprehensive package and most importantly we got what we wanted on budget. Couldn't recommend Ben and his team more. We were in a really tricky position with our building project and Ben navigated us safely out of it. Aura designed an extension for the back of our house, I absolutely love it. We have a 1930s terrace and it's not your usual box on the back, we now have more space and so much more light.
Considering it's slightly smaller than usual, the price was very fair, they had great communication and were total professionals throughout, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I would use them again.

Aura kindly carried out some work for me on a small but compact development for me. It required precision, experience and haste, Aura were extremely efficient in all of these areas. I will 100% recommend and use Aura again. I have found although most Architects can delivery quality, it often takes too long or over priced. With Aura you have a great value of service. The team are extremely understand of your requirements, yet confident to make suggestions with a trained eye. Not only do they care about their work but you as a customer too.
