Services
Valley View Landscapes is a family run business based on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Established in 1989 by John Rickards who started by working for local people constructing gardens and offering general landscaping services in the Derbyshire area. The business soon took off and within two years had started working for local authorities.
Which means we've just about seen and done everything. We know the best way of achieving things and the best suppliers to get top quality materials at the right price giving you the best deal possible. There's a certain way of doing things - thinking ahead and planning mean you get things done in the correct order which makes for a more efficient site.
Our Herbst Agri Crusher is transported and powered directly by our JCB 4220 Fastrac tractor. The 700 mm x 400 mm jaw on our rental crusher is suitable for crushing stone, brick, concrete and general rocks / most types of rubble (depending on the metal content). It crushes down to 50 mm in size with a product rate of up to 40 tons per hour.
From block paving at a major exhibition centre in Birmingham to landscaping a new factory in East London, we have worked all over the country on many commercial landscaping projects for a host of different clients. Valley View Landscapes also fits wet pour play surfaces and school fencing. Wet pour comes in all colours, as seen in the picture.
From work on a single tree in your backyard to a plantation, Valley View Landscapes have all the equipment, training and experience needed to get the job done. As well as being expert climbers, our tree surgeons use high access equipment, capable of reaching 60 feet in height for dealing with awkward branches much more efficiently and safely.

Valley View Landscapes have carried out several projects for us, over the last 18 months. From moving a full standing summer house, in one lift to a new base. Advising on how to move a pond to a new location. Excavating ground works for the house and supplying the stone for the walls. The advice they provided for the soft landscaping was also very useful, suggesting plants for tricky shaded areas of the garden, as well as what would thrive in our soil. They even came up with novel ideas to keep the costing down.

Valley View Landscapes have recently finished the third patio they have created for us. The first two are at our holiday lets and the third is at our home. Jonathon and his team are always professional and courteous. Jonathon also had lots of great ideas about how to best utilise the space available, and used his experience to transform the patio from an unused area into a great place for the family to enjoy (when the weather permits)! He also advised on what were the best shrubs to plant, and this insight has allowed us to enjoy the patio in full bloom throughout Spring and Summer. I can't recommend
