Coach House
For over 40 years Coach House has imported and sold captivating, design-led, furniture and homewares throughout the UK and further afield. Having begun with humble origins in Yorkshire, we have grown to become one of the industry's largest and most trusted trade-only names, and we are still a proud family run business.

Our extensive breadth of product is not confined to one style but rather reflects a myriad of diverse collections spanning from traditional to contemporary furniture, lighting, design-led accessories, artificial floral, Indian antiques and festive products. We believe that this is what makes Coach House an inspiring company to work with.

We continue to source the best products for the most economical prices throughout the world sourcing from ten different countries in Europe and Asia. Between our team of buyers we aim to consistently inspire the designers, retailers, hoteliers and so forth, in the UK and beyond. At Coach House one of the things we endeavoured to do is to push forward within the British homewares market and encourage innovation and inspire those who buy from us.
Services
Make the great outdoors even greater with our wide-ranging assortment of alfresco furnishings, garden decor, and entertaining essentials. Whether it's lazing by the pool, or enjoying Sunday Brunch on your urban balcony, we have everything needed for a sun-filled summer spent outside. Artificial floral removes the hassle of caring for plants and is great for those with busy lifestyles.
Coach House as a trading name was established in 1977 although it was in progress well before this. Diane Bovingdon together with her father started the business in Bingley, Yorkshire when she was just twenty-two. David Bovingdon in 1970, after years of farming, began stripping original pieces of pine furniture when the antique pine look was just becoming fashionable, this became quite the commercial enterprise.
We have recently begun funding a wonderful charity in Jodphur, India called Bal Basera. It is a residential program for HIV positive children in Rajasthan, where they have come to welcome 65 children with open arms and providing them with a home, education, medicine and tools to ensure growth and independence.
A core part of our business, since the beginning at Coach House has been our endeavour to push forward so we can be at the forefront of the British Homewares market. This ethos of forward thinking applies to sustainability and supply chains too. We believe that if we can be a positive force for change, then we will be.
As an established and respected wholesaler, Coach House takes into consideration the impact stocking any given retailer, designer, hotelier or specifier etc. has on the market overall. One of the many considerations that take place is the way in which our product is represented and sold. We are careful not to devalue the brand and ultimately harm existing accounts.
