Originally from the town of Gubin, on the Polish border with Germany, Daniel Makas came to the UK in 2006. He began working as a stone carver, quickly developing an incredible eye for detail - a skill that he continues to employ in all aspects of his work. Daniel soon broadened the range of services on offer, to include HETAS registered woodburning stove installation and fireplace alterations.
An absolutely brilliant service from MakaStone. Daniel was so knowledgeable and meticulous about every detail to make sure we were 100% happy with the work. He and his team were a delight to have in the house and cleared up beautifully each day. We would definitely use them again for any work to our house.

Daniel and the team from Makastone have done an outstanding job, restoring my Inglenook fireplace. This was a complex project that required demolition of a newer fireplace that has been built within the inglenook and then the restoration of the original stone work. The craftsmanship and attention to detail have been amazing and the result spectacular. Could not recommend them highly enough.
