Heed the warnings and avoid at all costs!!
Ordered an office chair from Office Furniture Direct which is a trading division of The Spotted Penguin Company Ltd.
It came damaged and the colour was very different from the photo on the website.
They have done absolutely everything they can to avoid fulfilling their obligations under statutory law.
They claim items are ‘bespoke’ and therefore nonreturnable. They are off the shelf items, arriving next day, being labelled as ‘bespoke’ to avoid people being able to return them under online/distance selling regulations.

Hands down the WORST customer experience I have ever had. I've been extremely polite and patient up to this point, but no more. My order was delayed by several weeks. When it did come in stock, it was missing parts. These things happen. I was then informed last week (after chasing) that the missing parts arrived 'that day' - convenient. Nonetheless, I was told someone would call on Monday to arrange delivery. I didn't hear anything so called and was promised a call back. Nothing. I called again on Tuesday and was promised a call back. Nothing. Same Wednesday. Same Thursday. Apart from on Thursday
