Without our hardworking and conscientious team, VDBH would not work. We value everyone who works with us. We try to make their working life as pleasant, safe and enjoyable as we can by doing a few extra things. We provide a confidential 24/7 helpline should anyone need to talk about a problem (non-work related).
Granite setts are extremely strong, durable and require little maintenance, this means they are perfect to use when laying driveways. Granite is a natural material and their appearance does not deteriorate over time meaning years of good-looking driveways. A lot of our work is to do with water so it was no surprise when we were asked to build a very substantial boat house designed by Colvin and Moggridge.
When you ask us to go ahead with a project we will send you a contract and part of that contract is a Payment Plan. We ask for a 10 % deposit when we initially sign the contract - this gives us some funds to start ordering materials and planning the work into our schedule. Depending on the approximate length of the project we will then schedule interim payments throughout - giving you chance to plan.
The most important training the whole team take part in is a 1 day First Aid at Work + Catastrophic Bleeding every year in January as a refresh for the upcoming year. This, the defibrillators and first aid kits on every site ensures that should the worst happen, the whole VDBH team are ready and prepared to offer appropriate first aid.
