Over time we have strived to produce the finest quality cabinets focussing much of our design on the timeless elegance of the traditional English style. However, we are also designing new, contemporary and innovative kitchens and furniture, always with an eye to open up and enhance any space in your home creating a modern lifestyle.

Torba & Brown is a collaboration between Sylvester and Rob, we started designing and building high quality handmade furniture and joinery when we met 10 years ago. Both qualified carpenters/joiners we immediately found that we thrived on each others abilities, blending technical skill and design flair, with a keen eye for detail to help reflect your style and the personality of your home.
We never forget that this is YOUR project. We're passionate about creating a design and build experience which you can really feel a part of. Our initial consultations will bring together an exclusive wish list to ensure you get the most from your furniture. We will walk you through the myriad of choices and show you samples of materials and colours.

Rob came highly recommended - and we were equally delighted. Every aspect was tailored to suit what we wanted from the project; from details of design and the materials used, through to the complete colour palette for walls, ceiling, beams & cabinets! Whilst I often knew what I wanted to achieve, it was Rob’s experience and creativity that converted the ideas into reality. And the quality of workmanship and finish was excellent.

High quality, bespoke kitchens without being too expensive. Rob Brown has good artistic skill and gives attention to every detail so he was able to improve upon our original ideas. Lots of solid hardwood is used. Long cabinet runs are made in a single piece giving a much more hand crafted appearance. We are completely delighted with our new kitchen.
