I should start that this company did some work for us 3 years ago. Fantastic work, professional and efficient, nothing too much trouble and no pressure to buy. We got a fantastic deal.
I'm not sure what happened. 7 weeks ago we made it clear that due to their work last time we wanted more work done by them. A porch and French doors. Richard came out, courteous, professional and helpful. Told me the quotes would be a few
days, after a week I chased, was told by the office they have been busy give it a few week's, I gave it 5. I chased again, was told someone would contact me, that didn't happen

Have had to chase * a lot * to get GS to actually fit the windows + doors that we ordered. Initial fitters didnt have trickle vents with them when they installed windows, service engineer arrived several weeks later with only half the vents and we've been left with really expensive SMARTs Aluminum windows howling everytime there is a gust of wind since - I really hope there isnt any water ingress else I'll be testing their guarentee... Still waiting for someone to fit the vents despite chasing. Oh, and we still dont have an install date for a composite front door we ordered in 2020... (they did

DO NOT USE!
Ordered windows and composite doors and paid in full weeks and weeks ago. They were supposed to be ready the end of April. GS Windows now have them in stock (end of June) but they have messed us around on three separate occasions with delivery.
The first delivery driver phoned when he was ten minutes away from the property we but no delivery had been arranged so we weren't even expecting him.
The second delivery driver didn't turn up and no-one bothered to phone us so we wasted more time.
The third delivery driver phoned on his way and then proceeded to tell us he was unable to

Terrible service from start to finish! Salesman didn't put important information about me taking time off work paperwork and wrote down a door I didn't pick on order form. Tried to change my fitting dates. Fitters were totally rubbish bedroom window wasn't put in straight and locking catches missing so it would fit, front door frame scratched both had to be refitted at my expense of losing a day's pay from work. Mastic work! Used inside when I was told they used chaulk can't paint over mastic and the finish was terrible. Called the office about faults and at first was given a re fitting date of

I found the girls in the office very polite and extremely helpful. The product and the fitting of the windows and doors were spot on.
I have used a number of window companies over the year's and by far these are the best and i will use again.
We are all drawn to negative reviews, so when i saw a one star review i felt compelled to share my experience of GS windows.
