Services
Natural Granite is quarried out of the ground all over the world. They quarry it by either drilling or cutting it out of a rock face, lift it to ground level, transport it to a factory and slice it up like a loaf of bread, but long ways. They then polish one face side of every sheet. The sheets are shipped to fabricators such as us, and from these we fabricate and produce Granite Worktops.
Quartz is a man made material, using over 90% natural quartz, ground into small crystals, then mixed with resin and glass, and cast using the latest techniques, to give a material of super quality and strength. Quartz is almost non-porous, making it stain resistant, hard wearing, and comes in a vast range of colours.
We supply granite worktops, quartz worktops, and associated care products. Watch out for companies who only sell care products and not the granite or quartz itself, why would this be? The cut on site versus template and fit debate continues to rage. We specialise in template and fit. Cut on site innevitably means a compromise.
We keep all granite worktop colours in stock in vast quantity. We purchase our granites from around the world and it is delivered to us in large slabs called "scants". The face surface is pre polished. The processed worktops are then ready to accept cutouts for hobs, inset sinks, etc. If there is a polished cutout required for instance for an undermounted sink, or a belfast / butler sink, this is done on one of the CnC machines at the factory.
