Rarely these days do you find the sort of level of customer service that I received from Period Flooring. Period Flooring in Nutfield, UK have specialised in the installation of natural flooring products such as sisal, coir, seagrass, wool carpets and rugs since 1987, when it was re-introduced via a keen interior design market.

Since then natural flooring products have become increasingly popular in trendy town houses and country retreats alike. Sisal is a beautiful fibre produced from the dense leaves of the Agave Sisalana plant, spiky bushes which flourish only in a sub-tropical climate. Coir is made from the strong fibres of the coconut husk found in the lush state of Kerala, India.

The coconuts grow around the many inland lakes and waterways. Seagrass grows in the tropical climates of China and Vietnam in coastal meadows on the banks of the rivers. The plant has tiny flowers and strap like oval leaves. Period Flooring offer a complimentary range of Wool carpets and rugs woven to the highest standards to match the warm colours of our other natural flooring products.

Poor communication and constantly chasing. When I did manage to speak to the owner over a querie he was aggressive and rude. Only continued with the company as had paid the deposit otherwise would have gone elsewhere.

Love their range of oak flooring, particularly impressed with the special acrylic lacquer used to seal the oak. Great customer service, will definitely use them again.
