Services
Mark Evans Electrical are a family run business founded in 1992. Mark has over 26 years experience in the electrical trade and all of our electricians have trained with us, completing apprenticeships at the company. We aim to give punctual, efficient and reliable service to our customers, many of which have been with us from the start.
Mark Evans Electrical specialise in house rewiring, whether the house is occupied or unoccupied. Periodic testing & inspection should be carried out regularly by an NICEIC approved electrician to ensure that all electrical installations within the property are working safely. Many properties still use old style re-wirable fuseboxes which can be unsafe and impractical.
In an older property such as houses in Bath, the wiring is often original with some 'add ons' such as kitchens and extensions. If wiring is very old it is always a good idea to modernise and update it for the safety of the property. If your home is being renovated it is a good time to rewire and update your sockets and lights.
Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates (MEIWCs) provide you, as the person responsible for the safety of an electrical installation, with a declaration that the new installation, or alteration or addition, is safe to use at the time it was put into service.
Electricians approved by the NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme are registered to full scope for all domestic electrical installation work in accordance with the governments Part P building regulations, including design, installation, inspection, testing and certification of electrical work. We can provide clients with an NICEIC BS7671 Wiring Regulation Certificate where necessary.
