Smith Cole Wright is a national firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultants with offices in Glasgow and Newcastle. We provide advice in commercial property markets throughout the UK but particularly in Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. The practice was formed by Fraser Smith in 1986 when he moved from Richard Ellis.
He was joined in late 1994 by Ian Wright, following 12 years as Retail Director of Conrad Ritblat's Glasgow office and Crawford Cole, having previously been a Director with Akeler Developments and previously Stewart Newiss in Newcastle. Rod Miller completed the senior team in 1998 and came with a background in agency, development and professional consultancy at Drivers Jonas.
Between the four Directors there is a century of experience in the commercial property market and we are committed to providing advice to our clients from senior experienced chartered surveyors. Our central ethos is a client-led approach and, rather than treating each transaction as separate, our concern is with building long-term relationships based upon a thorough understanding of each of our clients' requirements and aspirations.

We advise on acquisitions and disposals and provide strategic advice in respect of commercial property investment holdings. We act for landlords and tenants in every aspect of Landlord and Tenant occupational relationships.
