K.H. Heating Limited is a family run business, founded in 2001 by Karl Hawes who started his career as an apprentice in a local Richmond company then worked at British Gas. Working throughout North Yorkshire this local business proudly services both residential and commercial properties and over the years has built an excellent reputation which has led to the company growth.
Now, the company employs a team of 13 qualified professionals including engineers, fitters and gas specialist. The main office and a showroom is located in Richmond, North Yorkshire where there is a wide range of beautiful bathroom and boiler samples to browse through with experienced staff ready to answer any questions.
K.H. Heating is proud to be working in partnership with Darlington College on a successful apprenticeship program. Two apprentices have already completed the course becoming full time specialists at K.H. Heating. We are currently training two more apprentices.

We offer a complete service from design to installation, our showroom has various bathroom designs on display. K.H. Heating offers landlord gas safety checks to ensure compliance.

Karl came in the summer to quote for installation of a new oil fired central heating system that can operate alongside our existing Boru multifuel boiler stove. He did this by incorporating a Dunsley Neutraliser into his proposal. He quoted us a mid November start date and a 2 week installation period. Completed 1day late but fitted with exemplary pipe engineering, fitting and knowledge. It was a complex job as can be seen on the photos.

After finally completing the purchase of a property in Richmond, which was in need of some updating, we asked for quotes from local companies to replace both its bathrooms. One of the responses was from KH Heating. Although not quite the cheapest, it was nevertheless, very competitive. What impressed more was the level of detail in their response to our outline of what we wanted. This was important to us as we live abroad and while we have a close relative living in the area who helped us with the purchase, the project had to be managed largely via email and phone.

Just wanted to leave a review to say what fab service and great lads who fitted my boiler and radiator and my hot tap outside for my pooch if I had gone with British gas I would off paid for new radiators without even needing them Karl said have the new boiler first as I may not need new ones once new boiler is fitted and yes he was so right so thankyou for saving me money I didn't need to spend š thanks kh you've done a fab job š

We had a heating engineer from K H Heating round to do some work, he called before hand to let me know he was on his way, when he got here, he was a friendly chap called Brent, a jovial fella that told me a story that made me howl, he did a brilliant job quick & efficient,

We have just had our bathroom ripped out and completely refurbished, and the boiler changed, by Karl's teams of plumbers, plasterers, tilers and electricians. To say that we are delighted would be an understatement. The standard of workmanship is excellent throughout.
Where once we had a dribble for a shower we now have limitless hot water from a "rainfall" head, with an additional hand held shower, all in a glass walk in enclosure. The basin appears to defy gravity, fixed to the immaculate tiling, and the bath fits neatly in the opposite side of the bathroom with a toilet to match.

We have used KH Heating for many years from a new boiler installation to yearly servicing etc.. We were recently going on holiday and on the day of departure had a plumbing leak. We contacted the KH Heating team and they were out extremely quickly and fixed the problem, allowing us to go on holiday the same day, fantastic service as always.
Their staff are very professional and do a wonderful job. Great to have a local team that are so reliable.

From a distance of nearly 400 miles away with only periodic visits to the area, and in very sensitive circumstances, I have had to order considerable changes to a property in order to place it on the market for sale. K H Heating were tasked with implementing all these changes on exacting timescales - with many at short notice - and Karl undertook to organise it all. I was unbelievably fortunate. Outstanding service. My personal circumstances were taken into account, I was a brand new customer but despite how busy the team was I was treated as a āspecial customerā. I felt cared for and well looked after and my heating went from being completely broke to having a new boiler fitted within 24 hours. Being unwell myself and having 2 young children I will be eternally grateful for the outstanding service and support that I received. I met 4 members of the team and they all worked seamlessly to support each other! A real stand out business. I wonāt be going anywhere else for my heating
