A mechanism is the strip that runs down the full length of the door which incorporates different locking points. First Choice Locksmiths offer a range of sizes and colours of door handles to suit uPVC, wooden, metal and composite doors.
We can solve any problem you may encounter from broken locks and keys, lost keys or any other eventuality that can cause you to be locked out of your home or business. We are a genuinely local emergency locksmith so you will always speak to us directly and not a call centre or out of hours operator.

This means that if you do find yourself locked out then we will get you back in without causing any damage to the door or lock. We will only ever drill a lock as a last resort and all lock replacement prices will be provided before any work commences.

Multipoint locks have been primarily used on uPVC doors, although more recently they are being installed on timber and composite doors. A big percentage of our jobs are Emergency call outs to uPVC and composite doors where the customer can not lock their door.

We also supply and install PAS 24/ TS007 High Security door handles to meet insurers requirements. PAS 24 handles have Secured By Design Accreditation which is also referred to a Police Approved and are stamped with the British Standard "Kite Mark".
