Established in 1997 we have been through the Analogue, Digital Recording and IP eras. In our opinion the introduction of IP video imaging to the Security Market has more impact than the introduction of the PTZ Dome camera. The quality of images from IP cameras perhaps is not as usable as a live image from an analogue camera however the recorded image is far better which in 99% of installations is far more important than the live image.
Analogue solutions are the traditional CCTV systems - installed on dedicated coaxial cabling hence the name "Closed Circuit". IP or Network Cameras are installed on existing or new network infrastructure or a dedicated network. Cameras and Access Control devices connect into the network and images are transmitted across the LAN.
Meridian have an enviable client list, below are some examples of work we have completed. We do not disclose all Client names or site details so as not to compromise security at sites of high risk. Meridian have successfully completed a large system installation and update at a major Construction Machinery company in the Midlands.
