Jon came within a couple of days to diagnose a fault with my 20yr-old Vaillant boiler. As there was more than one problem and likely to be further faults developing with age (also current parts delivery delays) he recommended a new boiler and fitted us into his work schedule within the week, on a Sunday, all for a very reasonable price. A water hammer suppression valve included. The finish is neat, all packaging and debris has been cleaned away, and the heating system immediately works well.

They arrived perfectly on time for a boiler service, did a good job and informed us about any upcoming issues.
They then proceeded to clean the filter too (a different company didn't have the right tools and had suggested we source the spanner), Plumbob had all the right tools.

I would not recommend Plumbbob from the experience that we had. The work itself was fine but I was shocked by the level of service. For a start, the plumber arrived 40 minutes late without so much as a text to let us know not knowing what was being done despite providing a brief over the phone and email. Unfortunately, there was a fault with the product that we obtained to be fitted. Instead of notifying us as soon as it was spotted, he said that the job was done and that we could have a look “if we liked”. Upon hearing my surprise he laughed and asked if I “spotted what was wrong”. He

We called Jon out a few weeks ago to investigate what we thought was a leaking pipe behind our washer. Turns out it was a loose valve, which he tightened and then didn't charge us for the visit. We then called him back out, along with his apprentice, to do a routine boiler service and certification, as well as reseal our kitchen sink and ensuite shower. The work was done promptly and smoothly, with a full explanation of what they were doing throughout. I contacted Plumbbob after they were recommended by Worcester Bosch to fit my new boiler. The team arrived on time, and consisted of 4 persons and I was delighted to find 2 female engineers. The house was built in 1964 so has had many extensions over the years and the plumbing system needed a competent team to assess and understand. The team worked very quickly and were very tidy and kept us informed with everything that they were doing.
