McDonald’s Roofing has just completed retiling our house roof including new felt and battens, lead flashings and upgrading the insulation. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome. From the initial contact with John, through the smooth coordination of the skips, scaffold and material deliveries by Kerry in the office to the great workmanship from Harry and Len on site, the whole process was very efficient. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. At the end of the project the site was left clean and tidy and, most importantly, a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate was issued though the NFRC Competent Persons Scheme. We couldn’t recommend McDonald’s more highly.

What can I say after experiencing two roofing previous roofing companies who made my roof worse by damaging tiles and charging me an absolute fortune it was an breathe of fresh air to do business with a company who actually cares and wants to do a good job. I cannot praise this company enough and would strongly recommend you use this company over anyone else true professional roofers who are an absolute pleasure to do business with and do an amazing job.

Discovering that the cowboy builder who renovated my house two years ago had left me with a poor excuse for a roof was a devastating and costly experience. But the sweetener was the fact that I selected McDonald to make it right. John was very sympathetic to the position I had been left in and his careful explanations of what was now needed were much appreciated. A really good experience from start to finish. We had our flat roof replaced along with other repairs needed. There was excellent communication throughout the project from getting quotes right through to completion. We were promptly sent all the verified certificates.
The team were hard working, polite and courteous and Andrew (project manager) is a true gentleman - a person with manners from a different era.
I would highly recommend this roofing company for the quality of their work and for the excellent communication.

I was recently scammed by a doorstep roofer who made out my roof had a problem. Eventually I smelled a rat and called McDonalds Roofing who sent someone out straight away and arranged for 2 guys to check my roof the next morning and surprise surprise my roof was perfectly fine and they took photos for me to prove it. Any roofer who says there is nothing wrong with your roof has got to be good in my book. So helpful and efficient and am sure their work, had I needed it, would be the same

McDonald roofing were recommended by a work colleague as I wanted some alterations to a pitch roofed extension. These guys are first class, extremely professional, polite and punctual. After John popped round initially to price up, communication was great with the end result looking superb. Would recommend and certainly use again.

We had some damage to roof tiles and guttering which was a relatively small job however McDonald Roofing were tremendously helpful, going to some lengths to find matching tiles which weren't readily available and working around my availability to do the work. The team completed the work to a very high standard and worked away in a professional and clean manner. I've already recommended them to several of my friends and colleagues. We had our large flat roof replaced and insulated in July (2017) by McDonald roofing and I am very pleased to have used the company. Every one I dealt with was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The work was done with the minimum with the minimum of mess or disruption to us and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
