Services
Based on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park, Lambland was established in 1961 and is today a third generation family run business, starting our adventure as a small seasonal retail shop in the harbour area of the beautiful seaside resort of Ilfracombe selling leather wallets, purses and handbags.
Our womens moccasin slippers are a soft shoe made of leather, suede, lambswool or sheepskin, sometimes with these materials in combination. A moccasin's sides will be stitched to another piece of material at the front-top to give the shoe its distinctive shape and style. Because of the soft nature of the materials used, moccasins are usually worn indoors as a house slipper.
A slipper offers full foot coverage, with sides and a back, plus a top covering the toes and upper foot, similar to a shoe. A mule slipper has an open back, exposing the heel making it highly convenient, as you can slip them on and off with ease. Both our ladies slippers and mule slippers offer the ultimate comfort, whichever style you chose.
A glove is designed to have separate fingers and a thumb; whereas a mitten has one section for all of your fingers and only a separate thumb. The advantage with gloves is that they allow you to use your fingers easily when worn. However, mittens are generally warmer as your fingers generate more heat when touching together.
Sheepskin footwear, whether it's sheepskin slippers (mules), sheepskin boots or moccasins, are all extremely comfortable. They provide warmth for your feet on cold days, keeping your feet nice and cosy. Sheepskin slippers are also breathable, so don't worry about overheating. Lambland's range of footwear are also highly durable and can come with either a suede soft sole or hard wearing PVS sole.

I ordered a double sheepskin rug which came in a bag with a big slit down it exposing my rug to dirt dust and bits so i did not accept it and explained it needed to be packed properly so it was not getting dirty like this in transit. They was great and sent me another out but this was in a damp box the second rug was dusty bitty and like it had been dragged aroumd someones floor prior to me recieving it i was mortified as the rug looks so good on the website. Asked them to send me one out that is immaculate like the ones they advertise on their website and sent them a picture of how filthy my rug

Having read such good reviews, I was saddened to have received such poor customer service. I ordered 3 childrens fleeced (with postage it came to £76) which never arrived. When I chased them up I was promised a second package would be sent the same day . Two days later I rang as i still hadnt received them being told falsely that they had been posted. Tracked with Royal Mail and Royal Mail was awaiting to be contacted by the sender. Rang the company again to be told oh yes they've just been despatched.
Such a shame as these were a birthday present for my triplet grandchildren!

I purchased a pair of gloves as a Christmas present for my Wife. Unfortunately, the carrier seemed to have ^Misplaced" them.
I contacted Lambland and explained my predicament. Nothing was to much trouble. The people I spoke with were both friendly and professional. Also, they were knowledgeable about my issue and I did not have to keep repeating my tale of woe to each person I spoke with.
My problem has been sorted out with no fuss at all.
It is nice to see that Customer Service is still live and kicking here.
Would not hesitate to recommend.

I am so pleased I found Lambland on the internet as I had two sheepskins sent over to Canada for my Labrador, Lord Wellington. The sheepskins are of an unusually high quality and are very reasonably priced. In addition, the shop in Ilfracombe is a little treasure chest where I had the pleasure of meeting Paul and Melissa in April. The variety and quality of their products appears to be of a much higher quality than those available in North America. While there I also purchased a fabulous ‘mohair throw’ which again was of a very high quality.

I purchased 2 sheepskin rugs - which were fabulous quality but didn't quite match my colour scheme and had a no quibble return. I then re-ordered a darker shade - and Lambland kindly (and patiently!!) explained the difference between British and NZ/Australian sheepskins, assisting me in what would be most suitable.
If only every company was like this!

Great Customer Service!
I ordered a pair of slippers for my husband as a Christmas Gift, received them promptly, they then sent me another pair (which threw me a bit) When I opened them I realised that the first parcel was sent in the wrong size by mistake, they then sent the correct ones without waiting for me to send the wrong ones back or charging me for the second pair.
No many companies would have done that even if they realised about the mistake. My husband had his slippers to open at Christmas, which he loved and I did the honest thing and sent the spares back using their free returns

Purchased these Lambland Mens Genuine Sheepskin Suede Moccasin Slippers with Soft Suede Sole from Lambland Ltd on Ebay. The seller is located in the UK. Depending on the brand of shoe, I wear either a Men's US size 8 or 8/12. I ordered the slippers in Men's size 8 & the seller sent me a pair of slippers in Men's UK size 7 or EURO size 40. I googled the size chart to get the UK men's equivalency of US men's size 8 & that would be a UK size 71/2 or EURO size 41.5 . The size the seller sent me were equivalent to US men's size 71/2 which are too small & judging from the size slippers the seller sent
