I am a qualified and experienced horticulturalist and garden designer, lucky to have worked in an industry I love for over 20 years. Horticulture, plants and gardens are my passion! My passion has led me into teaching were I have nurtured people and plants in colleges, communities, schools and botanic gardens.
I am also a national examiner working with Royal Horticultural Society Qualifications. From the tiny to the HUGHE! Our next project is to plant out this lakeside 30m border plus the terraced borders behind. The planting plans are. We've finished planting this small garden this week, transforming a rather overgrown and dull space into a stylish space to enjoy.

Every garden and customer is different, working with you I will design a garden that meets your needs and is a pleasing experience to be in and look at. Plants are the heart of a good garden, they provide colour and interest all year and are the background to the many ways we use our gardens.
Every garden and customer is different, working with you I will design a garden which meets you and your family's needs and is a pleasing experience to be in and look at. Designing a garden is a process, during this service I will visit your garden and carry out a site survey, taking measurements, sampling soil and taking account of everything that may affect the final garden.
Plants are the heart of a good garden, they provide colour and interest all year and are the background to the many ways we use our gardens. If you are happy with your garden layout but simply want to improve the planting I can use my horticultural expertise to help. We will meet to discuss your project and talk about what you like about your border and what you would like to change.
