Carp-A-Tex has its roots way back in 1956, when carpet fitters Eric Marsh and Cyril Wicks were offered a contract to manage the flooring and curtain work for local brewery Simonds the Brewers. The two of them provided and fitted the curtains, flooring and furniture for all the Simonds pubs and hotels across the UK.

Carp-A-Tex has over 50 years' experience in fitting flooring in Reading and Slough, for both commercial and domestic properties. Over the years we've worked in some high profile buildings, including the Millenium Dome, Windsor Castle and Eton College.
