A brief intro - I've been pretty much obsessed with interiors for as long as I can remember. My career has involved various aspects of hospitality, property design, building and developing, and I previously ran my own interior design studio having trained at KLC college, Chelsea. Design Vintage started life as a small store on the outskirts of Brighton offering original vintage furniture pieces alongside modern homewares and gifts.
The shop was off the beaten track and with only a homemade website it was definitely a gamble! Thankfully I have had the support of so many lovely customers from day one as well as some amazing press coverage and a reputation for customer service which has allowed the company to grow and far exceed anything I had imagined it could be.
The journey has definitely not been one for the faint hearted, and the last 8 years have bought with them an all consuming and constant need for hard work and commitment but I am now lucky enough to have a small team of equally dedicated and wonderfully passionate people who have joined this exciting adventure!

Our Bamboo Collection is created by our lovely partners at Tine K Home in Denmark, where bamboo has been a core part of their collection from the very beginning of their story 17 years ago. There is very little I don't covet from this brand and we are delighted to be a House Doctor Stockist. It was no mean feat curating our collection! I love the simplicity of their designs and the industrial edge to many of their furniture pieces.

Turned up after a walk in the woods. Really liked the menu and Terrece.. We Were told it was table service. Sadly waited at least 20 minutes to be ignored, saw multiple people get served who turned up after us. A member of staff quickly came to us as we were leaving, but we left instead as they clearly need a better system in place.

Beautiful showroom with some really lovely home pieces! We had breakfast and coffee and the pancakes are to die for! Unfortunately the coffees were overheated and my flat white had curdled, I did send it back but got a second one which was exactly the same (wasn’t offered a refund) it would be great if they could perfect their barista skills and would be a 10/10. Thoroughly recommend for a Saturday morning breakfast.
