AK Carpets, based in Lancashire, was established in 1993 by Harry Law who realised his concept for delivering a cost effective, fast yet efficient service to the automotive trade. As the business grew we later became a Limited Company in 1999. This allows us to stock even more materials and offer our customers a greater choice.
All our products are manufactured to meet all British and EC Directives for use in the construction and conversion of passenger carrying vehicles. With our ability to purchase large stocks we are able to sell our products at very competitive prices enabling you to be cost effective with you projects.
Our flooring products offer a highly durable surface for the most demanding applications. The VN Flooring is the product of choice when flooring passenger vehicles such as coaches and minibuses. It is also very popular in the surfacing of horsebox ramps. Coach carpets are cut according to the many different variations of coaches on the road today, from the Neoplan Starliner to the Plaxton Panther.
We have a wide range of floor plans, which are being continually updated, for most vehicles, but because all coaches are hand built on different chassis's and to suit their original owner's specifications carpet kits are cut slightly oversized to accommodate the variations that may occur so trimming will be required.All carpet kits will require a small amount of trimming for the perfect finish.
