We are a family run business based in North Cornwall with over Twenty years experience in the Electrical trade. We are NAPIT Approved and Trust Mark registered, offering services in all aspects of electrical installations as well as Solar Photovoltaic Installation. After carrying out electrical contracts for a large national company with clients such as Ministry of Defence and The National Grid, John decided to start his own company.
A few years on, John Wood Electrical now has six employees who are all qualified electricians or apprentices completing their training. Based in North Cornwall, John Wood Electrical carry out domestic installations along with industrial and commercial contracts as well as servicing many local Property Management companies. John has over ten years of experience running large contracts as Contracts Manager and Site Foreman both for John Wood Electrical and in his previous role.

JWE can offer a bespoke lighting design for your installation whether it's domestic, commercial or industrial. We believe that lighting can greatly enhance any property and that the effect of the lighting can vastly improve the feel and aesthetics, as well as offering functional light. There are many ways to achieve the 'wow' factor using lighting and, contrary to popular belief, we believe this can be achieved without spending a fortune.

We recently had electricity connected to our garage by John Wood electrical and every aspect of the service was fantastic.
John came and provided a clear quote which was very reasonable and answered all of our questions and needs clearly.
On the day of install Luke and Lloyd came out and were brilliant. Polite and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble despite terrible weather. The install was smooth, very professional and the work area was left cleaner and tidier than when they started!
All in all a perfect experience from a quality local company, thank you!
