One Foot Taller is an award-winning contemporary lighting company which has been designing elegant lighting and producing those designs since 1995. The pieces combine elementary modern lines and utilitarian grace and are mostly made in Scotland, UK but some bespoke work is also done in the studio in France where founding member Katty Barac is based.
One Foot Taller create accent lighting for homes and public spaces. We have been designing and producing quality decorative feature lighting since 1995. Current ranges include the completely handmade glass lighting in the Bell and Waisted ranges; durable polyethylene lights for interior and exterior use: Ethel, Etheletta, Polly and Cube ranges.
How can we light our spaces so that they feel good? Overhead lighting matters! We have to see clearly but don't need interrogation lighting and we also want to feel comfortable. This is where One Foot Taller's hanging lights are useful. Ethel, Polly and Etheletta pendant lighting ranges allow generous amounts of light to shine through them as well as providing a calm and peaceful ambience.
One Foot Taller's ceiling lighting fittings go from flush ceiling lights which sit right up against the ceiling to fixed drops of different lengths and cable pendant drops.
