We are an award winning architectural practice based in West Sussex with a team of dedicated architects and a sister practice which handles commercial architectural design www.jameswellscommercial.co.uk. JWA was established by James Wells who has over 30 years experience working with private and developer clients from the initial design stage through to completion of the works on site.
As an RIBA Chartered Practice we follow the Plan of Work as defined by the Royal Institute of British Architects. This plan of work is defined to guide clients and all building professionals through the process of creating a new building from deciding to appoint an architect to living in your new home.

James Wells did a great job for me on a refurbishment project in 2018. The job involved new electrics, lighting, plumbing, heating, kitchen, bathrooms. He did the design, managed planning, sourced the builders, helped source fittings and made sure everything was on track each week through the year's work. It all went very well and I am delighted with the result.
