For all your civil engineering, plant hire and haulage requirements throughout North East England. Fred Mence (Construction) Ltd was co-founded by former MD Fred Mence in 1989, Fred is still involved in an advisory role in the day to day running of the company.
We immediately engaged in civil engineering works in the North East and throughout northern England with works covering large diameter deep drainage, mass concrete structures and hardstandings, road construction and hard landscaping for local authorities and major contractors.
As time passed, we offered a groundworks service to facilitate a full infrastructure package to our clients, which was swiftly followed by the addition of a surfacing department.North East plant hire and North East haulage also followed in turn, and today Fred Mence (Construction) Ltd offers a fully self-sufficient service to our clients.
