1 Call Plumbing is a Southend based family run business. We specialize in small plumbing jobs, new taps, leaking taps, leaking overflows, blocked sinks, toilets that don't flush and lots more. We are aware of the fact that when a plumbing problem occurs, first there is panic then you need to find a local plumber that you can trust, we will do our best to get to you as soon as possible.

Our founder Paul Aldridge had been working in the Southend area as 1 Call Plumbing since 1988. We pride ourselves on the fact that we are trustworthy reliable and professional. We won't charge you for parts that you don't need - if it is can be repaired we will repair it! But, when it is not cost effective or safe to perform a repair, then a new replacement part will be installed.

We undertake the smaller, domestic plumbing work and repairs: baths, basins, toilets and cisterns, taps, wastes and traps, tanks, blockages and so much more. We would welcome an opportunity to discuss in more detail how our range of services can help you.

Paul popped over today to assess a possible leak. Even though Paul was unable to help fix the problem he was incredibly helpful with advice. I certainly plan to use Paul for smaller plumbing jobs when needed. Thanks again Paul.

I've used Paul's services for over 10 years, but my first review. Recent jobs included fitting an outside tap, also advising on an issue with a shower and fitting the subsequent replacement. He also problem solved a leak from a pipe at the side of the house, diagnosing an issue with my Header tank which he fixed. For all these works Paul was quickly round/arrived on time, gave a quote and cleared up at the end. One reason I return to Paul is the honest advice he gives on solutions. It's invaluable. Called Paul in an emergency one evening when we found water coming through the kitchen ceiling. He came out immediately and soon discovered the source of the leak and isolated the problem. It turned out to be a cracked toilet and within days (it was a weekend!) Paul had obtained and fitted a new toilet and cistern. Paul was very helpful and efficient and we would recommend him with no hesitation.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy plumber who doesn’t overcharge you might want to look elsewhere. When my elderly parent’s bathroom started leaking into the kitchen they chose 1Call Plumbing to solve the problem. This led quickly to a new bathroom and them paying half the cost of the non-itemised bill up front for ‘materials’. There was limited consultation with regard to choosing their own fittings that resulted in the Plumber’s choice of sink & cupboard being unsuitable. The Plumber agreed to replace it with another one but restricted the choice to one from his own supplier and

I called Paul out because I had a water leak from my bathroom area, water was running through to my ceiling, he resolved the problem immediately. He also did other plumbing work for me which I was very pleased with.

I called 1 call plumbing this morning due to a faulty toilet. He was extremely friendly and polite on the phone. He came round within an hour to fix my toilet.
He was thoroughly professional, quick and got the job done well. The price was less than other plumbers were asking and I believe it was extremely fair.
