In the UK alone, over 4 billion KWh of electricity is consumed by street lighting every year, costing approximately 500 million per annum and resulting in over 1.9 million tonnes of Carbon Dioxide emissions. Solar Powered LED light integrated high efficiency solar panels, controller, high-capacity lithium battery and LED Lighting technology into a small compact housing unit.
All of our wind turbines are high efficiency, low start-up units and have a cut-in speed of 3.0 metres per second and a cut-off speed of 20 metres per second. Electricity will be produced to charge the battery throughout this range. Maximum power will be produced with a windspeed of 15 metres per second.
