At Forbes Treecare we run a team of highly qualified, experienced tree surgeons working throughout London. We can carry out any tree related service you require, including tree felling, tree pruning, tree reports and tree planting. We can provide impartial advice on what's best for you and your tree.

We work on trees of any size, and with the upmost care we will leave your garden spotless. Your tree will be healthier than ever. We are fully insured up to 10 million and all our work is carried out to BS3998: 2010 and BS5837: 2012. Sean Galton is an associate member of the Arboricultural Association.

He is qualified for Professional Tree Inspection (PTI), Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) and Visual Tree Assessment (VTA). The Forbes Treecare team are qualified with Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and NPTC Units 201, 202, 203, 206, 301, 306, 307, 308, 309 (Previously called CS30, CS31, CS32, CS38, CS39, CS40, CS41).

Based in Crouch End, North London, Forbes Treecare was founded in 2010 by Sean Galton. A passion for conservation was the motivation to form a company that could maintain and care for trees in the urban environment. Specialising in urban forestry, we are a highly professional team of arborists who cater for all needs tree related.

Services Report

With safety at the forefront of our work, we will help you find the right service for you. Reducing the height and spread of the crown of a tree, crown reductions allow more light into a space and reduce the potential sail effect of the wind. Removing selected branches from the canopy to increase light levels and reduce the sail effect.

Sustainability Report

We always encourage our clients to plant replacement trees where possible, to preserve the green urban landscape that makes London as special as it is. Trees provide a habitat for a diverse range of insects, birds and bats which make up part of our ecosystem. It's important to preserve them where we can.

Fantastic service and good value for money. I contacted Sean after getting a quote for over £1000 to cut down some trees and trim back a hornbeam in the garden. He sent round someone to have a look. The guy was very knowledgeable and experienced. He set out the pros and cons of getting rid of the trees (refreshing to have someone not interested in upselling). The quote was very reasonable. Sean's team turned up on time, were very communicative and did an excellent job. They left the garden very clean and we're very happy with the work. Easy to recommend.

Forbes Tree Care was recommended to me by a friend. I needed my cherry tree brunning. Sean and his team were friendly, efficient and professional. Excellent, efficient service in an attempt to give a large ash tree, suffering from 'ash die back' a further lease of life.
I was impressed with how hard they worked (in extreme heat) and the ultimate overall effect of the tree.
Considering this involved an enormous amount of branches and foliage, the garden was left in almost immaculate condition with only, a very welcome, pile of logs to show that Forbes Treecare had ever been there.
I will definitely recommend them and happily use them again.

Sean and his team are knowledgeable, professional and polite. All work was carried out to a very high standard. Debris and waste had to be carried though the house but the team were clean and tidy and worked tirelessly to complete the work. Would highly recommend for any tree work.
