For over 20 years, we have designed, built, planted and revitalised gardens for delighted clients in and around York. We are also the only landscaper who will give you a guaranteed start and finish date! Paul Cox Landscaping are recommended installers of the Trex composite decking system. A Trex composite deck is guaranteed for 25 years. It has a screwless fixing system, for a flawless surface, and is made from 95% recycled material. It will not fade or warp and has excellent slip-resistance. The system is only as good as the base beneath it.
We use traditional construction methods and only premium quality, pressure-treated FSC wood for our timber decks. We take pride in our craftsmanship, replacing saws and equipment regularly for the sharpest cuts and precision mitred joints. Even our screws are of the best quality and appropriate length (and we use plenty of them!).
We have been constructing high quality timber fencing in York and Yorkshire for over 20 years. From a neat picket fence to a sturdy concrete post and panel fence, we will offer a solution for any location, taste and budget. The secret of a strong fence is a sturdy support and we ensure that your fence posts are rock-solid and plumb straight, using the best quality pressure-treated timber for a long-lasting, rot-resistant fence.

Correct installation is key. It's very similar to buying a new carpet - invest in a thick pile, laid over a quality underlay (sub-base) and get it professionally fitted.

We recently had Kath, Paul & their team to give our garden a make-over & what a transformation it has been!
From a very tired, waterlogged garden, they ripped up everything from a cracked, uneven patio to concrete inches thick. They knocked down an old breeze block back wall & took up the old turf to rotovate underneath and then went on to install a soakaway cage to combat any future flooding.
A new wood panelled back fence, sandstone paving for a new patio & new turf completed the fabulous job they have done.
Their team of guys worked incredibly hard & quickly & all were very friendly & easy

Paul, Kath and the team did a fantastic job re-paving our “forecourt”. They were really responsive to our ideas and gave great advice about what would best meet our brief. They were always on time and very friendly whilst working at our home. The finished result is excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We are delighted by the work done by Paul and Kath . Over the course of 6 days they completely transformed our back garden area . They re-laid our patio completely to make it fantastic as it was falling apart . They installed drainage as the whole area was like a lake for most of the year . They put in planters and moved the shed installing new paving underneath . They removed the grass area, then dug out and installed membrane and gravel . This was mostly done whilst we were away on holiday and we did not have a moments worry as Kath and Paul were true professionals .

We’ve just had our new enlarged patio completed by Paul & Kath Cox and their team and we’re very pleased with the result. We would highly recommend them for their efficiency, friendliness and hard work. All the supplies needed for the job arrived on time and they completed the job a day early working very hard each day. They even brought their own loo!
We were also drawn to this company as they have sourced sandstone that has been ethically produced with no evidence of child or other bonded labourers being used to produce the sandstone. That is something definitely to consider these days!

From our first meeting it was obvious that Paul & Kath were experienced & professional, it was an easy decision to choose them to improve our garden. We are thrilled with the results, all of our previous issues have been solved and we now have a much more useable family friendly space (with added gravel pit for the kids :). The team grafted away the whole time they were here, they were very friendly and approachable, everything was left neat and tidy every evening and they worked solidly completing everything to a high standard. Highly recommend!
