This client in Penge had quite a large ash tree at the end of their garden and wanted to allow in more late afternoon and evening light, but still retain some privacy from the building behind. So we carried out a 30%-35% crown reduction and 25% crown thinning. This lime tree had a number of ganoderma fungal brackets at its base.

Darwin Tree Services were professional and helpful from start to finish. Ben & Luke did a great job on a very neglected overgrown magnolia tree and were efficient, friendly and tidy. Mac followed up personally to ensure we were happy with the works carried out before we made payment. Highly recommend and will definitely be using again.

Mac knows about trees and is sympathetic to their needs as well as the needs of his customers. Very professional, with all the right equipment and expertise. We had a tree removed, various others trimmed, and a large mimosa brought back to a more appropriate size. All done in a day by Mac and Ben, with a vast amount of debris chipped and removed, so the garden was left immaculate. Highly recommended.

I have been using Darwin Tree Surgeons for a number years now. They come along periodically to prune several large trees that grow into and over our small city garden. Mac and his team are all round professionals and will deal with the job in a way that takes care of the trees and your property - in our case that involved taking all the waste material out through the house. They will discuss the specification of the work in detail beforehand, work to an agreed quote and really do go the extra mile to ensure a good outcome and a happy customer. A well deserved 5 stars!

Great service from Mac, Ben and the team. Very thoughtful about the tree work requirements and responded promptly to communications. The recent work was done on time and the tree they did a crown reduction on a few years ago has grown back into a great shape again - a skilled team.
