OEM lighting the specialist lighting distributors, has recently designed and supplied interior lighting to the entrance hall, stairways and first floor gallery of the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum in Temple Meads, Bristol. OEM was chosen for the project on a recommendation from a supplier.
When designing the lighting scheme OEM Lighting's designer was keen to ensure that the lighting was in harmony with the design of the building, and take into account that the luminaires had to be installed at existing lighting points. Wall mounted uplighters and surface mounted compact fluorescent luminaires are used in the scheme, all of which have integral emergency lighting.
