Services
We offer a full turnkey solution, starting from a pre-arranged site visit right through to completing the plumbing, lighting and even supplying the furniture. We supply windows, doors, secondary glazing, porches, conservatories and orangeries along with fascia, soffit and guttering in a wide range of materials from traditional wood to PVC-u and aluminum.
Choosing new windows for either replacement of existing old ones or a new project needs careful consideration. Performance, aesthetics, ease of maintenance and security are all important factors as well as cost, safety, material, availability and the impact on our surrounding environment. The appearance of your home is important and when considering new windows you need to make sure that they will look just right and compliment your home.
The made to measure Fairmitre wooden casement window is individually manufactured to allow flexibility of design, size and style. Fairmitre's unique patented mitred joint system means that no end grain is exposed to the elements in the main frame and sash. Beyond looking good, it ensures continuity of moulding and contours around the frames and eliminates moisture traps to help ensure the window's long life.

We recently employed ‘Fairmitre’ to renew two sash bedroom windows and two large sash box bay windows in an old period property. We had asked both National and local companies for quotations, but we selected Fairmitre because, from the outset, Paul (M.D.) was so much more thorough than anyone else in his assessment of the job in hand and its potential pitfalls due to the age of our property. His advice and knowledge were so reassuring.
The installation was carried out by Rob, Tom and Jason. They were extremely professional, efficient, friendly and tidy (and partial to biscuits!). As had been

Fairmitre have just replaced all our doors and windows and I would like to share our experience and help others to benefit from what can only be described as an excellent experience. From our initial enquiry, to our first meeting with Paul, then a visit to the showroom and the actual installation the service and professionalism has been to the highest standard and I would recommend anyone looking for top quality products to contact Fairmitre.

We came across Fairmitre when we were looking for a new front door, Paul visited us and straight away we were on the same page, his approach to our wish list was refreshing and by adding his experience and knowledge he helped make our thoughts a reality. There was never any pressure for a sale and he left us to make a decision in our own time.
We were extremely impressed with the design and workmanship with our stable door that we chose to use Fairmitre again a few months later to install bi-fold doors on our dining room. Again Paul’s approach to the project was brilliant and the team that came

We had an exceptional experience with Fairmitre, from the initial meeting with Paul Jones to the delivery and fitting of our beautiful front door and panel windows! A very efficient and professional company, the whole experience was faultless, we will be returning this year for bi-folding doors without doubt! Thankyou!

We started the window buying process in March 2018. A year later, I felt it was time to write a review.
We live in a conservation area in Shrewsbury which means the process is so much more complicated than most. Bay windows that had to be sash windows that had to be the same as the Victorian originals does make it a bit of a pain.
Paul at Fairmitre dealt with this process incredibly professionally, resulting in permission sought, paperwork done, drawings complete, and the job submitted for build.
Fitted in early Autumn in time for a winter to test the impact.
