Established in 1993, Pro-Pest Services first began with John Connolly MBPR (Pest Control), a highly experienced and BPCA qualified technician. John has a passion for nature and the environment and this passion reflected in his work. Pro-Pest Services has a large and loyal customer base in both domestic and commercial properties.
John's son, Richard joined the company in 1999 and Ian began in 2009. Both are highly skilled technicians and are well-trained in many aspects of the industry. As of 2015, John became the company consultant with Richard managing our Essex customers and Ian managing our London customers. Pro-Pest Services supply professional programmed pest control and ad-hoc pest control to both domestic and commercial premises.
All of our pest control works are carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety Act 1974, the COSHH Regulations 1988, The Food & Environmental Act (1985) and Control of Pesticides (1986).

Bird activity can cause many problems. Pigeon mess (guano) can not only cause unsightly mess to buildings and walkways, but it poses a health risk as pathogenic micro-organisms in the guano and the birds themselves can lead to respiritary and health problems. Birds nestings on ledges can lead to guttering becoming blocked due to accumulating guano and feathers.
Rodent activity is a very common part of our lives now. Their destructive nature can damage our homes and businesses. Their constant gnawing can damage electrical wires, wood work, insulation and pipes costing you huge amounts to repair. Rodents urinate very regularly, their urine contains pathogens that can transmit deadly diseases such as Weils.
We have now been with Pro Pest for 20years and we couldn't have kept our site clean and rodent free without you! It has been another challenging year with ever increasing pressure to keep the site clear but you guys haven't let us down once and I'm absolutely proud to say that I work with a great team with each and every one of you helping and being there when we need you.

We have used Pro-pests service for a good many year, firstly on our Main Farm, then we built an estate on our second one.
Due to fact that this estate is practically built-in open fields reusing and renovating the old buildings into residential homes.
We contacted Pro-Pest and asked for regular visits to make sure that these new buildings and people within the comfort of not having to worry about natural visitors into their homes.
Pro-Pest give outstanding service in a very professional way and of good value... and save us from the worry of rodents and other pests encroaching out of control

I've used this service twice before and couldn't be happier. The first time round I had rats and the second time I had a bees nest in my loft. Both times the work was done quickly and and the man was very polite and gave me some tips to make my loft a little harder for pests to get around. I would highly recommend to anybody and wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thank you so much!

I had a problem with what I thought was mice I was told via a friend to contact Pro-Pest Services due to there quick response, so I called the pest technician Richard who covers the Essex area (I live in Basildon) who was very polite, talked me through what was happening and what I found, he arrived at my property within a few hours, told me in fact I had rats, explained in detail what he was going to and told me the price and if I wish to go ahead, the price was very reasonable. After a course of visits I am now rat free......
