Start by deciding where you want your brackets, these are normally 5 to 10 cm from the edge of the shelf depending the on the size of the shelf. If you're putting up a long shelf it is worth considering using more than 2 brackets so that the shelf can support the weight and does not sag in the middle.

Highly recommend mersey MDF!!… bought new white gloss shelving for window sills in bathroom with new surround tops for makeover….measure up, ordered on line with their make to measure service (5 shelves of different lengths and width)…got a call when they were ready, and all fitted perfectly saved loads of time cutting etc.. brilliant

Ordered some cut to size shelving, for a storage cupboard i was putting together..
Extremely happy; the price and quality was very good (much nicer than i expected), with a great overall finish. In addition, the sizings that i gave them were followed to the letter..
Delivery was also very prompt, and the shelves were securely packaged; to ensure no damage during transit..

I came across a little hand written note from Mersey MDF that was included in one of my orders and thought I should write a quick review. We've been renovating for several years and each time I need new cupboard & drawer handles I order them from Mersey MDF. (I can't find bow handles in the right sizes here in Australia.) Great pricing & quick international postage. The customer service (all via email) was exceptional. The handles still look as good as the day they were installed. Big thumbs up all round.
